Information we collect and its usage

Your relationship with us starts after you install our browser extension. We save some of the non-personal data that you generate while using our services like watched videos on a backend database for the smooth working of our extension. However, If you choose to log in using an email address, Our authentication service provider viz. Firebase automatically saves your email address on a database that we can access.

While installing the extension, you may have to accept to provide our extensions few permissions. We want to bring to your knowledge the reasons for asking for those permissions:

1. Storage permission: We need this permission to save some of the user's data like settings, watched videos, etc. locally.

2. Active Tab permission: We need this permission to mute the audio using a shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Z.

3. We also need permissions to OTT platform websites and youtube.com so that we can swap ads during ad breaks.
